Thank You for Moving With Us: Move for Melanoma 2026
What a weekend!
On September 26 and 27, people across Canada came together for Move for Melanoma 2026, finding their own ways to move, raise awareness, fundraise and show support for people affected by melanoma and ocular melanoma.
Some walked or ran. Others rolled, hiked, paddled, biked or stretched. Some donated, fundraised, shared the campaign or cheered someone else on. Together, we raised over $70,000. Your contributions will go towards helping make a difference in patients lives across Canada.
However you took part, you were part of a community moving together with purpose.
This year was especially meaningful for Ocumel Canada as we brought our community together through Team Ocumel Canada. We are so grateful to everyone who joined the team, supported a participant, made a donation or helped spread the word.
Ocular melanoma is rare, which makes opportunities to come together especially important. Seeing patients, caregivers, families, friends and supporters participate from different places and in different ways was a powerful reminder of the community that exists across Canada.
Move for Melanoma also helps support the ongoing work of Save Your Skin Foundation, including resources, programs and support for people affected by melanoma and ocular melanoma.
