Today, people around the world are wearing eye patches in support of Eye Patch Day - a growing global awareness movement founded by Ocumel UK to help bring attention to ocular melanoma, a rare cancer that develops in the eye.

What began as a simple but powerful awareness initiative continues to grow through the support of organizations, patients, caregivers, and advocates around the world, including partners such as A Cure In Sight and Ocumel Canada.

Eye Patch Day is about more than wearing a patch. It is about creating visibility for a disease that remains widely under-recognized, while showing solidarity with those affected by ocular melanoma.

Why an Eye Patch?
